Jerry comes from a fairly large family. He and his four siblings live with their parents in the small village of Ankahsuo in Manipur, India.
Jerry’s father is a teacher. Teaching in India is very different. Teachers usually check on students outside of school, offer extra help at the student’s home, and can even walk students to and from school and provide care throughout the week outside of school. Although it is a very responsible job, teachers bring in a small income.
Jerry’s parents cannot afford the cost of tuition and fees for school. With your help, Jerry will be able to stay in school and get the education he needs.
