Timeline

Laltlanthang comes from the remote village of Senvon, located in the hills of Northeast India. He and his brother live with their parents in poverty. His father is a Shifting Cultivator who works long hours in harsh conditions, making barely enough money to provide for his family. It is not uncommon for him to be away for months at a time, burning sections of forest to clear the way for new land to farm. Laltlanthang attends church regularly and is making good progress in his studies at our mission school. Here, he will continue to receive a strong Christian education where he can cultivate his God-given potential and be deeply rooted in Biblical principles to guide him through his entire life. Laltlanthang and his family know that the only way he can continue his education is with sponsorship. They have faith that the Lord will provide a loving sponsor to pray for him and financially support him so that he can finally break free from poverty and walk into a much brighter future!
