Timeline

Jessai Remruotsang is a sweet, young boy that lives in the village of Muolhoi Haflong, Assam, in the northeastern hills of India. His father is a day laborer, finding work each day as he can. But this is not a steady or reliable income. Many times these jobs can also be physically demanding for not much pay, such as construction or demolition work. Jessai's mother is a housewife with little education of her own. Because of this, she is unable to find a job that would help the family get out of poverty. Jessai's parents realize that an education is needed to provide new opportunities and a better way of life for their son. They have enrolled him in our mission school by faith and are trusting that the Lord will provide a sponsor so that he can continue there. Already Jessai has shown good progress in his classes. He most enjoys singing and his English classes. By choosing to sponsor Jessai, you are providing the chance for him to continue his education, and to grow both academically and spiritually.
