Emmanuel is a precious little girl that resides in the village of Khawmawi in the green hills of Manipur, India. Times have been tough for Emmanuel and her family. She lives in poverty with her parents and three sisters with no real hope for change. Her father is a cultivator, or farmer that works other people's farmland, and her mother is a housewife. Emmanuel and her family have started attending church and learned about our mission school. By faith, her parents have enrolled her in school and are believing that God will provide a sponsor to support her education. An education will mean the chance to pursue a vocation that can help her to break the cycle of poverty. Plus, Emmanuel will learn Biblical principles to last a lifetime.
