Esther is a young girl that lives in the village of Senvon, in the hills of Northeast India. Esther's family lives in poverty. Her father works as a carpenter and Day Laborer but his meager earnings leave no money for education for his four children. Esther has also suffered from Asthma since she was three years old. She receives medical treatment when she can but there has not been much progress in her condition. Despite these hardships, Esther has found hope in Jesus Christ. She loves to sing and especially enjoys rhymes. Her parents have enrolled her in our mission school and are believing that the Lord will provide the support needed for her to get a good, Christian education. With sponsorship, Esther will be able to attend school in a Christian environment where she will become deeply rooted in godly teaching. She will be able to realize the potential within her, and pave the way for a brighter future.
