My Story

Esther Lalditum lives in the remote village of Saiphai, deep in the hills of Northeast India with her brother and parents. Like most of the people in her village, she comes from a long line of poor farmers unable to break the cycle of poverty. Her parents work hard to put food on the table but little is left for their children's education. By God's grace, Esther does not have to remain in the poverty and poor conditions of previous generations. With education, she will be able to her to cultivate her God-given potential and grow the dreams God has placed within her heart of becoming a teacher. With sponsorship, she will be able to continue attending our mission school. She will be deeply rooted in Godly teaching and valuable life skills.
